SanLucar announces a renewal of its organizational structure

Despite the excellent sales forecast for the 2018/2019 campaign, of around 440 million Euro; an increase of almost 9%, the firm SanLucar has announced a renewal of its organizational structure. With it, the company is putting the focus on the organic growth of its management team, as well as its international specialists in fruit and vegetables. In this way, SanLucar will be more oriented towards the operation of the business, with the idea of planning the next steps to be taken in the future.

"From field to table; for SanLucar, looking after the entire value chain is our main priority," says Stephan Rötzer, founder and owner of the company. "That is why we have opted for a structure in which the best experts in each of the links that make up our value chain, from the selection of varieties, cultivation and logistics, to the presentations and advice at the point of sale, are in charge of decision-making. The goal is to be able to offer a fresh product with the best flavor at all times.

"These experts are already part of our management team and we want to expand their responsibilities in order to drive our continued growth," explains Stephan Rötzer. "Thanks to their know-how in their respective areas of specialization, we will continue working with the aim of making a difference in the global fruit and vegetable market with the unique imprint of our SanLucar brand."

As a result of all this, in the renewed structure of the SanLucar Group, the figure of the CEO (position held until now by Michael Brinkmann, who is now leaving the company) will disappear in the short or medium term, and the co-founders of SanLucar, Stephan Rötzer and Jorge Peris, will again take over the management of the company.
