The reason for the high level of attention is mainly due to the fact that this new variety has many characteristics that other dragon fruit does not have. "Our new dragon fruit variety is a variety approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of China and is currently being incubated. The new dragon fruit variety has the advantage of self-pollination, and the flesh is pink with a jelly-like texture. It can be grown during the off-season and is less affected by the weather. In addition, compared with existing red flesh varieties who have poor storage abilities, the new variety can be stored for more than 15 days in cold storage, bringing a strong market advantage." Mr. Wu said. 
This year, Tiandiren successfully sold more than 1 million boxes of pineapples, setting a new record. "The ability to achieve this success is mainly due to the fact that we focus our pineapple marketing on the fruit retail chain channel. By organizing branding and promotion events, we have strengthened our quality control management. At the same time, we have also been developing the second and third-tier wholesale markets. Data shows that our sales this year have grown by 21% compared with the same period last year, and it’s estimated that sales will further increase by 8% next year (in 2020). In order to meet the strong demand of the Chinese market for high-quality fruit, our planted area is expanding. We hope to further promote our brand in the future, and make it a strong high-quality fruit brand in the hearts of Chinese consumers." Mr. Wu expressed his joy.
