The International Citrus Seminar to be held in Veracruz, Mexico

After the enormous success of the agricultural seminars on blueberries and avocados in Mexico, Spain, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Argentina, International Agronomic Seminars and AGQ Labs will host a citrus seminar in Mexico. The first citrus seminar in Mexico will be held on September 5 at the GalerĂa Plaza Hotel in Veracruz.

This new seminar is being held because of the importance of citrus growing in Mexico and internationally and the continuous needs for technical, productive, and commercial improvement of the international citrus sector.

The International Citrus Seminar has a very innovative program along with expert local and international speakers. This first edition of the International Citrus Seminar of Mexico is aimed at the entire Mexican citrus sector, farmers, producers, distributors, investors, exporters, and agricultural food experts interested in this important crop in Mexico.

The seminar will focus and analyze the reality and trends of the Mexican, international, and United States markets, the knowledge and treatment of diseases and the future prospects of the different varieties.

It will also give updates regarding fertilization and pruning in citrus crops without technology. Other issues to be discussed include irrigation and nutrition, the use of phytosanitary products, post-harvest handling, and risks. It will also share knowledge on quality advances, export regulations for Persian Limes, and quality certifications, among other issues.

Places are limited and prices are cheaper with advance registration, attendees must register on the website of International Agronomic Seminars.
