On 4 July 2019, the Swiss championship in Chriesistei (Swiss cherries) spitting, will begin. This unique event is not only aimed at experts, but also at the general public. Participation is open to everyone. The sports spectacle is accompanied and supported by celebrities and moderated by Nik Hartmann.
In honor of the Swiss Cherry, the highlight of the season will be held in Zurich on 4 July. It will be interesting to see what kind of spitting skills the audience, celebrities and finally the "professionals" will exhibit.
Children are allowed to participate in their own competition. This year there will be a team competition as well, with six cantonal teams competing against each other in a bid for one of the medals.

The musical entertainment is provided by singer / songwriter Lina Button. The organizers are looking forward to a fun competition and hope for a lively participation.

The event is organized by the Swiss Fruit Association, SWISSCOFEL and the Swiss Christsistei-Spucker-Verband.
Preliminary decisions will take place on June 23 at the Kefiker Chrisifäscht in Kefikon, on June 30 at the central Swiss Chriesifäscht in Hitzkirch and also on June 30 at Chirsifescht in Wintersingen.
