On June 13th, Miss Fresh and Tencent jointly held a strategic cooperation conference, announcing the launch of the “Smart and Fresh 100 Billion Plan”. Under the framework of this plan, they plan to grow into a fresh product retail platform worth 100 billion yuan (12.9 billion euros) within three years.
During the press conference, Zheng Xu, founder and CEO of Miss Fresh, announced the start of Miss Fresh’s “Smart and Fresh 100 Billion Plan". Xu predicted that by 2025, the size of the fresh product delivery market will reach 1 trillion yuan, while Miss Fresh is committed to becoming the first to grow into a fresh product retail platform that is worth 100 billion yuan by 2021.
In the future, Miss Fresh will position itself in the “online supermarket” sector, and continue to expand its assortments. They plan to increase the number of its SKUs from 1,000 to 3,000, then to 30,000. They will also continue to strengthen front-end cold chain logistics facilities and upgrade front-end warehouses to achieve the regional coverage of “10,000 warehouses in 100 cities ” within three years.
