“The pomelos we supply are produced in Fujian Province, China. It is estimated that the first pomelos from the 2019 season will hit the market around July 15th. The varieties include red flesh and yellow flesh pomelos, in which yellow flesh pomelos have a higher production. Thanks to the relatively stable climate conditions throughout the year, the total production of pomelos this year basically remains the same as last year.” Mr. Wang said.

“In terms of prices, the prices of red flesh pomelos are higher than that of yellow flesh pomelos, which is related to their relatively limited production and higher nutritional value. The prices of pomelos grown without using pesticides are higher than that of ordinary pomelos, although their harvest season comes later."

“At the moment, our pomelos are mainly sold through traditional sales channels and e-commerce platforms to wholesale markets and supermarkets in the first-and-second tier cities in China.
