In the first five months of 2019, Peruvian cherimoya and soursop exports have fallen by 42% in terms of volume compared to the same period of 2018. 60,394 kilos of fresh cherimoyas and soursop have been exported for an FOB value of 155,996 dollars, while in 2018, these figures stood at 104,816 kilos and 274,170 dollars.
According to data supplied by the portal Agrodata Peru, the main destination of these Peruvian shipments was Chile, where exports worth $ 122,000 were made. Next in the ranking are the United States, with $15,000, and Italy, with $4,000.
Some of the main Peruvian companies exporting cherimoyas and soursop were Unión de Negocios Corporativos SA, with sales worth 115,000 dollars, Bio Frutos SAC, with 12,000 dollars, CPX Peru SAC, with 8,000, and Tropical New Dimension SAC, with 4,000 dollars.
