BerryWorld’s exclusive varieties crowned at prestigious international food awards

BerryWorld® are delighted to announce that they have just been awarded five Superior Taste Awards, gaining global recognition for our strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.

The International Taste Institution has evaluated more than 15.000 food & drink products from around the world with their jury of prestigious Chefs & Sommeliers. Strict tasting methodology makes the Superior Taste Award, the most renowned independent certification worldwide.

Each of their exclusive berry varieties were evaluated on several factors, including appearance, aroma, texture and taste. BerryWorld® Jewel™ Raspberries, BerryWorld® Midnight™ Blackberries, BerryWorld® Sundown™ Blueberries, Sweet Eve 2 Strawberries and Eves Delight 2 Strawberries all received Superior Taste Awards with 2-stars.

The Superior Taste awards are organised by the International Taste Institution, formally known as ITQI, in Belgium. Over 200 jury members are carefully selected based on their experience in tasting. These professional taste-experts are members of the most prestigious Chef & Sommelier Associations and their talents are recognized in Chef & Sommelier competitions or by renowned institutions such as Le guide Michelin or Gault & Millau.
