George Galloway to retire from Pretty Lady Vineyards

Pretty Lady Vineyards has announced that George Galloway will be retiring on June 8th, after an impressive 40-year career in the produce industry.

For the last 15 years, Galloway has served as the Senior Account Manager for Pretty Lady Vineyards, (previously known as Sunlight International Sales).

The company said he has been an integral member of their operations, helping to establish the Pretty Lady name in the retail sector and developing the grape company’s presence in the U.S., Canadian, and Mexican markets.

“George has always gone above and beyond my expectations,” Pretty Lady Vineyards co-owner, Nick Dulcich, says. “I will miss his fellowship, but I am happy he is riding into the sunset on a high note. His loyalty to our family will never be forgotten”.

“He is an inspiration to all of us,” adds co-owner Peter Dulcich. “His upbeat and encouraging attitude has helped keep everyone going, even in the most challenging situations. The dedication he shows to his customers and the company is evident in his long hours, attention to detail, and willingness to always go the extra mile.”

Galloway is thankful to the Dulcich Family for the experience of working with, and for, them for so many years. “It has been one of the most fulfilling highlights of my career,” he says of his time at Pretty Lady Vineyards. “It’s been such an honor to be associated with their family and to have contributed to their success.”

Galloway plans to join his “lovely bride”, Robin, in retirement. When the couple first met in 1975, they spent lots of time hiking, mountaineering, fishing and skiing. Their goal moving forward is to devote time, once again, to those type of activities while they still have the good health to do so. The couple also hopes to spend more time giving back to the community and enjoying moments with family and friends.

In a statement to his fellow co-workers, mentors, and vendors, Galloway said, “I am so thankful to have worked alongside all of you. I will continue to value these relationships into retirement.”
