The price of round white cabbages recently dropped. Data from the Xinfadi Market shows that the current wholesale price of round white cabbages is around 0.45-0.5 yuan [0.06-0.07 USD] per 0.5 kg, which is a decline of 26.92% in comparison with last week and 60.42% in comparison with last year.
The round white cabbages currently on the market mainly come from Hebei. The harvest season is in full swing from Handan to Langfang and Tangshan. The supply volume is abundant this year, which is why the price is much lower than last year. Changes in temperature have had little effect on the growth of round white cabbages. The price already dropped to a low point and there is very little room for further decline.
