Peruvian pomegranate exports yield positive results

Peruvian pomegranate exports increased slightly during the first four months of this year, reaching 29,514,110 kilos worth 51,129,075 dollars.

The Netherlands was the main export destination, with 51% of the total shipments, equivalent to 26,032,394 dollars. It was followed by Russia with 9,416,844 dollars, the United States with 2,935,076 dollars, the United Kingdom with 2,864,688 dollars, Canada with 2,248,337 dollars, Saudi Arabia with 1,075,941 dollars, Hong Kong with 989,329 dollars, and the United Arab Emirates with 860,665 dollars, among others.

The main pomegranates exporting companies were Corporacion Agrolatina SAC with sales amounting to 4,667,314 dollars, Agricola Pampa Baja SAC with 3,601,447 dollars, Agro Victoria SAC with 3,581,232 dollars, Pomica Peru SAC with 3,064,521 dollars, Complejo Agroindustrial Beta SA with 1,988,048 dollars, Agroindustrias AIB SA with 1,895,406 dollars, and Agroinca Productos Peruanos de Exportación SA with 1,828,105 dollars, among others.
