One more year, SanLucar has reaffirmed its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact by publishing its Progress Report for the 2017/2018 campaign.
The company, member of the Spanish Global Compact Network, has published its annual Progress Report since 2010. This time with a novelty: The incorporation of detailed information on SanLucar's contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
"As a global company, we are guided by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. On this basis we have defined in 2018 the six fields of action that concern us: Education, nutrition, sport, soil, water and air. It is precisely on these pillars that we base our social and environmental initiatives, within the framework of our corporate responsibility programme DREAMS.
Through this programme, we help people to make their dreams come true in the countries in which we are present", says Michael Brinkmann, CEO of SanLucar.
Since SanLucar was founded, the company's daily activity has been determined by its corporate philosophy: Taste in harmony with people and nature. “From this premise, we work with our partners, both locally and globally, to build a better future together,” explains Brinkmann.
Another new feature of the latest edition of the report is its design. Thanks to the use of infographics and other visual elements, it is easier to read and to understand its content.
"With this renewed image, we want to ensure that our advances in social and environmental commitment are easily accessible," concludes the CEO of the SanLucar Group.
SanLucar’s Progress Report is hosted on the company’s website within the section Company/Corporate Responsibility/Publications. The document is only available in Spanish and will be soon adapted to English.
