Traders are not quite satisfied with the volume of Early Beauty cherries on the market, but the conditions are still better than last year. Our orchard was fortunate enough to escape from heavy rainfall. Our cherry trees already finished pollination by the time the rainfall struck. As for the production volume, this year is a much bigger year than last year. The size of the cherries is also larger."

"We grow and sell cherries from Yantai. The cherry varieties include Red Light, Early Beauty, Shamito and Black Pearl. The main variety is Early Beauty, and Shamito comes second. The supply seasons vary for each cherry variety: Red Light cherries enter the market between May 23rd and late May; Early Beauty cherries enter the market between June 1st and June 12th; Black Pearl cherries enter the market between June 5th and June 11th, and Shamito cherries enter the market between June 4th and June 13th."

The price of Red Light and Shamito cherries is the same as last year, but the price of Early Beauty is 1 yuan [0.15 USD] per 0.5 kg lower. The price of Black Pearl cherries slightly increased. We sell our cherries through traditional channels and online. We mainly sell through e-commerce platforms, WeChat traders, and stores."
