The novelty of fourth range in Italy: honey and watermelon on a stick

Agribologna Consortium continues its innovations in the field of the fourth range. At Macfrut it presented new products from the Fresco Senso line

Fourth range fruit with flavored honey

The director Angelo Palma: "We always try to propose new products so that respond to what we consider a market demand. Our research and development department is always at work and. For example, we have the fourth range banana that does not oxidize and that has a long shelf life thanks to natural antioxidants".

New not only in Italy but also in Europe is Aromi di Miele, a product line created in partnership with Mielizia, where the fruit, exotic or local, is enhanced by a combination of acacia honey and spices. There are four mixes, the names of which take up the colour of the fruit.

Icecream style watermelon

In the orange mix there is clementine with persimmon and papaya, enhanced by acacia honey flavoured with ginger and cardamom.
In the red mix with red apple, grape, raspberry and blackberry, the honey is flavoured with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
In the green mix we find green apple, kiwi and yellow melon with acacia honey with fennel seeds and star anise. In the yellow mix there are mango and pineapple, with golden apple, acacia honey with ginger and cardamom.

At Macfrut, the watermelon was presented on an ice cream stick: a clean piece of particularly thirst-quenching and crisp watermelon that does not release too much water, accompanied by a stick, to be consumed as if it were an ice cream.

The Baby Cocomero completes the watermelon line. It consists of packaged watermelon triangles ready to eat. Also in this case, practicality is privileged, allowing you to consume the fruit without having to waste time peeling and preparing it and avoiding waste.

Fresco Senso is sensitive to environmental issues and, from this year, uses only packaging made with a percentage of 20 to 30% of recycled material.
