Company also announces take-over by Cold & Fresh Holding

LGMS launches new Transfresh zip bag for blueberries

L.G.M.S- France - (Logistic Global Marine Services) has announced their new Transfresh Tectrol Zip Up MA bags designed for storing blueberries and sea shipments in reefer containers.

Transfresh Corporation has significantly modified the Tectrol System to help delivering more consistent supplies of Fresh Blueberries. LGMS, Exclusive Distributor for TransFresh Corporation said: “The breakthrough sealed pallet process delivers a unique storage solution with stable oxygen and carbon dioxide to customers. The new Tectrol storage solution for fresh blueberries is that this innovative zip-sealed pallet system, combined with the patented breathable membrane, allows for just the right amount of oxygen transfer needed by the fruit, resulting in better atmosphere control than previously possible.”

“Our principal, Transfresh Corporation, further comments that customers can now be much more confident in their storage solutions, by being able to more effectively match supplies with market demand. Blueberries are indeed grown in a variety of countries and tend to have steep production peaks. The ability to store blueberries in our MA zip bags for up to six weeks gives the growers and shippers better flexibility and solutions to cope with the market offer and demand.”

Transfresh expects that its new storage solution can be adapted also to other products. L.G.M.S will give an update of the next involved commodities.
