Smile-Fruit GmbH plans to double its current acreage

Austria's largest raspberry centre is to be built in Puch

Fruit grower Smile-Fruit GmbH, headquartered in Salzburg's Puch, currently cultivates a raspberry area of approx. 55,000 plants. However, this area is to be doubled, according to the management. "We will create the largest raspberry acreage in Austria," they say.

The raspberries have been marketed since last year via Austrian retail chains. Mature fruits are processed in collaboration with the GGM product GmbH to "Himperle", raspberry frizzante and nectar. The fruits will also be marketed directly from the farm in the Raspberry Automat, starting this year.
