The Besana Group, an Italian company involved in the production and processing of nuts and dried fruit, has signed a collaboration protocol with ChaCha Food Company Ltd, a leading Asian specialist in the sector.
The agreement was signed on 8 April in Hefei, where the ChaCha headquarters are located, by the Presidents of the two groups involved: Pino Calcagni and Chen Xian Bao.
The Protocol contemplates collaborations in the field of agricultural projects, industrial technologies, introduction of innovations and development of commercial networks.
The agreement is in line with Besana's goal of strengthening and expanding its presence in China, in consideration of the increasingly strategic importance of the country for nuts and dried fruit industrially processed and commercialized by the Group. “I personally visited the ChaCha plants - explains Pino Calcagni, President of Besana Group - and was impressed by the high quality of the processing techniques adopted, from all points of view. Therefore, for our Group the collaboration protocol just signed represents a great opportunity for our growth not only in China, but on all East Asian markets.
