More and more agricultural waste from greenhouses and farms

Spain: Agricultural plastic washed away by the rains in Murcia

The environment of the Regional Park of Cabo de Cope and Punta de Calnegre is one of the places affected by the plastic spills from the agricultural sector, and following the recent heavy rains, its beaches are a testament to the problem's magnitude.

After the latest storm, the one affected has been the Rambla de Ramonete, at the mouth of which, in the town of Calnegre, we came across one of the most unpleasant images of recent days.

At this point on the coast of Lorca, plastic waste and other sorts of waste from greenhouses and farms, which have been dragged by the rains, are accumulating.

Some users have shared pictures and their outrage through social media, just like others had done with the waste found in the vicinity of the Torre de Cope, in Águilas.
