Rosselkhoznadzor suspected Chile of ‘re-exporting’ blueberries

Russian phytosanitary watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor has expressed concern about the growth in the volume of blueberries shipped to Russia from Chile, says the press service of the Ministry.

Specialists of the department asked Chilean colleagues to provide information on the supply of blueberries and confirm the authenticity of phytosanitary certificates. Representatives of the Agricultural and Livestock Service of Chile reported that blueberries are exported to the Netherlands, and later to other countries, including Russia, but with due regard for the requirements of Russian legislation.
