Benno Neff, Tobi Seeobst AG:

"The increasing demand for organic fruits was very helpful"

Harvest year 2018 has broken all records at Tobi Seeobst AG in Bischofszell. Manager Benno Neff focuses on digitization and is working together with SFS on their sustainability strategy. Despite all the turmoil, the major supplier has been able to get back into the black, CEO Benno Neff told the Tagblatt.

'Increasing demand for organic'
Benno Neff: "2018 was in fact just like any other for Tobi Seeobst AG We were able to compensate for some of the frost-related failures in apples and pears with imports, but we were also helped by the growing demand for organic fruits, which we were able to market well in recent years. We have also been able to benefit from a good harvest of summer fruits."
