Dutch onions exports higher in week 12 than 6 weeks earlier

Dutch onion exports' seasonal total was more than 705,000 tons in week 12. That is the third week in March. In that week, the export amount was just over 12,000 tons. These figures were evident in GroentenFruit Huis' latest, updated data for the 2018/19 onion exports. Germany, in particular, was a good buyer. This country took 2,394 tons of onions. The United Kingdom bought 1,608 tons, and Mauritania was good for 1,138 tons.
