The French retail giant is extending its activities in Cameroon. A second Carrefour supermarket is currently being built at the “Douala Grand Mall & Business Park”, a shopping center under construction and operated by the British Investment Funds Actis.
The first supermarket, Carrefour Market, operated by CFAO Retail, was inaugurated in Douala in December 2017. The retailer also has supermarkets in Ivory Coast: in the PlaYce Marcory shopping center since 2015, as well as in the PlaYce Palmeraie in Abidjan.
