"Chinese Maogu tangerines enter peak market period"

"The market season of Orah tangerines and Baba tangerines is  almost over. Their supply volumes are limited. The price of Orah tangerines is around 4 yuan [0.60 USD] per 0.5 kg in production areas. Their absence in the market is filled by Maogu tangerines. The peak period of Maogu tangerine harvest is currently in full swing. As for the price, there is very little difference between Maogu tangerines and Orah tangerines." This is according to Lu Xiaofeng of Guangxi Nanning City Wuming District Orah Orchard.

Laborers select tangerines

"The overall product quality of our tangerines is slightly lower than last year. We experienced frost late in the production season, and some periods with excessive rainfall throughout the production season. The excessive rainfall does not influence the flavor of the tangerines, but the rainfall does complicate fruit storage. In general, the Maogu tangerine survives storage better than Orah tangerines. The main problem with Maogu tangerines is a limited production volume and a short supply period."

"Our current sales conditions are quite stable. While we continue to steadily develop our market share, we also hope to enter new, overseas markets in the near future, and provide more customers with the opportunity to taste the fresh flavor of our tangerines."
