The Supervisory Board of The Greenery has appointed Arthur Swijter as CFO. In mid-May, Arthur will succeed current CFO Philip Limvers, who announced in November 2018 that he would leave after his contract runs out. With Steven Martina (CEO), Arthur Swijter will make up the general management of The Greenery. He has been appointed for four years.
Arthur Swijter, 53, was recently CFO and Board Member of Stern Groep NV. Arthur started his career with Philips, where he had various national and international jobs, including the job of Global Controller for Supply Chain. In the period of 2011 to 2016 he worked for Walgreens Boots Alliance as a Finance Director and Board Member in the Netherlands. Bas Feijtel, chairperson of the supervisory board, has said he’s pleased with Arthur’s appointment. “His broad experience in Finance, his experience with Supply Chain and the familiarity with and experience in retail give every confidence that Arthur can play a very important part, and that he can contribute to our ambitions. I’m therefor looking forward to a successful cooperation with full confidence,” Feijtel says.
