At the beginning of 2017, some organic apple and kiwi producers from Blue Whale in the Garonne and Loire Valley came together to form the “organic fruit growers of our countryside”. From this association was born the brand 'Elément Terre Bio'. The association currently offers seven different apple varieties.
Thanks to its Canavese client, Blue Whale was able to promote the brand Elément Terre Bio and the two current varieties (Dalinette and Delisdor) at the European Hospital of Marseille. The hospital employees were able to taste, before entering the cafeteria, the organic apples presented by a host. They could then choose among the desserts made by the cafeteria with Dalinette and Delisdor apples. Nearly 400 people eat lunch there every day.
Blue Whale has big plans for organic farming and wants to convert its orchards and enlarge its total surface of 317 hectares in 2023.
