For decades, Polish company Jantex has been supplying high-quality mushroom products for the domestic market, as well as export products. To challenge European manufacturers of similar products, Jantex has recently decided to differentiate and develop a new finished product concept under the slogan "Be the first and the best": a unique combination of selected mushrooms combined with the nutritional value of rice and buckwheat - in outstanding packaging that meets the growing market demands in terms of recycling.
Eyecatcher at the POS
To make these exquisite products stand out at the POS, Jantex has been looking for an exceptional form of packaging: a bag with a beautiful design, designed to stand out prominently on the supermarket shelves and to present the product in the best possible way. Also, it had to protect the delicate aroma of the selected mushrooms. Ultimately, the bag should also act as a household container, even when half of the content is already removed. The Schur®Star stand-up pouch has met all requirements: It is made from a CPP film backing material, and has an attractive design, highlighting the product correctly.

This range is of course gluten-free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. For the packaging to be consistent with the 'healthy' profile, fully recyclable material was the logical choice. Therefore, the bags were made from a CPP film. Although a glossy and rigid appearance is achieved by the material, it is a single substrate that does not require separation and can be reused through a recycling structure. The film offers excellent printability and mechanical strength in the packaging process.
