'No Deal' risk now postponed until April 12

After long deliberation, the European Union is prepared to postpone the Brexit until 22 May. That is a day before the European elections. But only on condition that next week the British parliament agrees with the deal May has concluded with the EU. If the deal is rejected again, May will have until April 12 to decide if they want to participate in the European elections.

According to Prime Minister May, the British Parliament now has clear choices and will do everything it can to ensure that the country will leave the EU with a deal. According to EU President Tusk, the British government has now approved the proposal and the Brexit choice is back in London.

Meanwhile a petition to revoke article 50 now has over 2 million signatures, with support coming so fast it crashed the website, but May has repeatedly said she will not revoke article 50.

In Great Britain, the pressure has since risen sharply. The main trade union and employers' association issued a call to warn of a national emergency in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
