Love Beets, the creators of ready-to-eat beets, celebrated the win of a NEXTY Award at this year’s Natural Products Expo West, taking home the prize for their Golden Beet-o de Gallo in the “Best New Savory or Salty Snack” category. Of the more than 3,600 exhibitors, Love Beets were one of just 32 NEXTY Award winners.
Love Beets said its Golden Beet-o de Gallo is a twist on fresh salsa that combines diced golden beets with green peppers, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and spices.
“We continue to use innovation and creativity to get even more consumers excited by beets,” said George Shropshire, General Manager of Love Beets USA. “Our golden beet items have enabled us to appeal to an even greater number of people and we’re excited that we received this esteemed recognition for our newest beet item.”
New Hope Network’s NEXTY Awards are rewarded to products that display integrity, innovation, and inspiration within the natural products industry. The awards are seen as a symbol of excellence among the natural industry peers, media, buyers, retailers, suppliers and health practitioners, according to the company.

Love Beets’ suggested its Golden Beet-o de Gallo is a great snack paired with tortilla chips, or adding to tacos, nachos, salads, or topping meats and fish.
