Known for its Florette lettuce, Agrial has just acquired the company Angflor, an old supplier, based in Colchester. “We have already been buying products from Angflor for many years. Their production site progressively went from 11 to 28 hectares. This will enable us to increase our local supply capacity,” explained Doug Robertson, general director of Agrial Fresh Produce.
With this investment, the company strengthens its presence in the UK and secures its supplies against the many hazards that can impact the market.
