Core business sales of Migros Basel grew by 1.9 percent in 2018, with inflation up by 1.1 percent. Despite difficult general conditions, market shares were gained again. With a constant customer frequency, the average shopping cart of the clientele has increased.

In order to meet the continuing increase in demand for regional products, Migros Basel expanded the offer 'from the region. For the region'. Even value-added ranges were even more in demand among customers than in the previous year.
