High demand for Norwegian cucumbers

A modest amount of Norwegian cucumbers were available throughout the winter. Now, they are being fully cultivated and, at the same time, demand is growing. The cultivation of organic cucumbers will also increase in the short term. A price increase is expected very soon.

When it comes to onions, there is still a lot being imported to this country. The imported products are, however, not of the highest quality. Wholesalers are, therefore, looking forward to the new Norwegian onion harvest.

The Norwegian white cabbage stock will run out within a few weeks. In the coming week, grower prices will rise. This product's sales and quality remain stable. This is also the case with celeriac.

The quality of Norwegian carrots is still excellent, and sales are going well. Here, too growers prices are set to increase next week. In contrast, the stored potatoes' quality is problematic.

New potatoes are expected to find their way onto store shelves shortly. These are to be brought in from overseas. Sales of baby potatoes are quite low but remain stable. Here too, quality is an issue.
