First edition of Agroland kicks off 22nd of November

AgroLand, the professional specialized Vegetables, Fruits and Herbs
Exhibition, “fresh, frozen & dried”, will be taking place for the first time 22-24 of November 2019 at M.E.C. Exhibition Center in Peania, Athens, Greece.

The Exhibition Agroland is expected to attract as a start the interest of 150 exhibitors from Greece and abroad, covering at least a surface of 6.000 sq. m. as well as the interest of 8.000 trade visitors. The organisation will also approach some foreign hosted buyers aiming at materializing professional relations with our exporting exhibitors. During the exhibition there will be parallel events such as congresses and conferences covering interested relevant topics.

Agroland, will be a biennial exhibition constituting a meeting point for the most important production and commercial companies of the primary agricultural sector for the showing, promotion and advertising of products such as vegetables, fruits, aromatic plants/herbs, preparations, dried nuts, dried products, organic products, feeding and protection products, nurseries, agricultural equipment & supplies, packaging and conservation and service providing companies.

Agroland – a new Proposal, a new Opportunity – will contribute in the realization of fruitful contacts for the exhibitors with the secondary and tertiary sector from Greece and selected foreign markets.

The Exhibition is oriented to trade visitors from the processing branches of food, drinks, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, members of central and local vegetable/fruit markets, super & mini markets, fruit & vegetable stores, growers, farmers, agricultural stores, dried fruit and organic product stores, standardizing packing factories, etc.

Agroland is supported by very important associations and journals such as OKAA (Central Markets & Fishery Organization S.A.), Greek Federation of Association of Producers of Agricultural Products & Sellers of Local Markets, SEKLA (Association of Merchants of Central Athens Vegetables Market), PENA (Greek Union of New Farmers), AMAP (Association of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Greece), PASOVA (Greek Union of Biogrowers of Aloe Vera), GCSLA (Greek Cold Storage & Logistics Association), He.L.A.F.T. (Hellenic Association of Food Technologists), the journals Fresher, Froutonea, Georgia & Ktinotrofia, The World of Super Market, Triiris, allpack Hellas and the newspapers Agrenda and Ypaithros Chora.
