US: Support for states to improve agricultural marketing efforts

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that $1 million in matching grant funding is available for the Federal-State Marketing Improvement Program (FSMIP). This program supports the efforts of State departments of agriculture, state colleges and universities, and other eligible state agencies. Funds will bolster research projects to address challenges and opportunities in marketing, transporting, and distributing U.S. agricultural products domestically and internationally.

Applications from eligible applicants must be submitted electronically through www.grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on April 5, 2019. For more information about grant eligibility and previously funded projects, visit the FSMIP web page or contact Martin Rosier at martin.rosier@ams.usda.gov.
