Arra now grown in 24 countries; announcement coming in Berlin

Exciting times lie ahead for Grapa Varieties; the start of 2019 has brought with it a major breakthrough of the Arra varieties into new territories.

Developed at the ARD breeding programme in California and grown in twenty-four countries across five continents, the Arra table grape line encompasses a wide array of white, red and black seedless grapes, ranging from early to late varieties.

As Grapa CEO, Rafi Karniel explains, “Being the first table grape breeding programme to break into major producing countries is a landmark achievement for Grapa and we are very proud of reaching this significant milestone.”

The Grapa team are eagerly waiting to share the news in Berlin, when an announcement will be made at the Fruit Logistica Exhibition next week.

Grapa will be exhibiting in Hall 2.2 Stand A-03, where a wide selection of Arra table grape varieties will be presented. You’ve seen the photos, you’ve read the news, now come and taste the grapes.
