France: decline in the agro-food surplus

In November, the French agro-food trade surplus was at 735 million euros [839.70 million USD], due to lower exports than imports. This concerns processed and raw products, namely butter and also citrus fruits, with -16 million euros [18.30 million USD] in a year. Vegetable exports increased by 31 million euros [35.40 million USD] in a year. The potato sales, for instance, went up 31 million euros [35.40 million USD].

However, these increases were offset by the decline in the sales of oilseed products.
