From February 6 to 8, 2019, Bonduelle will present its latest Fresh-Cut assortment and innovative innovations at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Stand D.03 in Hall 4.2: In addition to the Bonduelle "Protein Salad", which has been on the market since January, vegetable specialist gives insights into his new "salad from our farmers" concept. The new salad is 100% German contract cultivated and ensures short transport routes. In addition, the grill salad is presented with an improved recipe. Since December 2018, the "Champignon" flavor variant has also been available again from the popular chilled soups.
Protein Power from the Bag
With the new "Protein Salad", Bonduelle responds to the growing demand for protein-containing products and combines crisp Lollo Bionda and tart frisee with protein-rich Bonduelle Kidney Beans. The successful taste mix is used in many ways: Whether as a main course after a sport, as an evening snack or a light snack in between - the new "protein salad" lives up to its name and has been winning over people with its protein conent since January. The innovative product is not only rich in protein, but also pre-washed and ready to eat.
100% German cultivation
The "salad of our farmer" concept for 100% comes from German contract cultivation. Here, lettuce and vegetable specialist looks back on more than 15 years of successful cooperation. The concept aims at the exclusive use of German raw materials and thus ensures short, efficient transport routes. The new "salad from our farmers" will be available from mid-May.
Lots of salad specialties
What would a sumptuous grill buffet without a salad? The versatile side dish really enhances any specialties. From early May to the end of August, Bonduelle will offer its grilled salad with an improved recipe: in addition to iceberg, lollo rossa and rocket, the new combination of red onions gives the salad mixture a mild spiciness.
The Bonduelle Fresh-Cut Range The current Fresh-Cut range also includes premium, mono and base salads, for example. "Creation", "Sophistication", "Rucolatino", "Flair of Provence" and "Garden Salad". Thus, Bonduelle offers different variants, which can be used either on their own or as a basis for individual creations.
With each purchase of a Bonduelle salad, salad lovers can also participate in a raffle from January 1st to March 31st, giving away ten free annual memberships in gyms - each with a maximum annual subscription of up to € 600 - and 50 times € 50 Sport Check vouchers. For this purpose, it is sufficient to upload the receipt, which proves the purchase of an action product of the fitness promotion. In addition to the protein salad, these include all other Bonduelle salad bags and salad bowls in the assortment.
The Bonduelle salad bowls
Tasty rather than lavish for consumers who prefer a finished meal, Bonduelle has delicious salad bowls: the "protein break" serves tuna, kidney beans and Italian dressing on crisp green, while the "hearty break" is a fresh salad mix with yogurt dressing, boiled ham and cheese sticks. The "Summer Evening" salad refines the salad mix, combining dried tomatoes, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. "Weekend Mood" is a salad with roasted chicken strips, hard cheese and Caesar dressing.
At a "veggie picnic", consumers also expect a salad mix with corn, savory, vegetarian mill cakes and a creamy yoghurt dressing. The toppings of the salad bowls are provided by well-known top brands such as Patros, Rügenwalder Mühle or Zott. In addition, the new packaging made of predominantly recycled PET of 69 percent and without a lid is designed to be more sustainable.
Chilled soups as a simple meal
The soups from Bonduelle are ideal as a delicious and varied meal that can be easily prepared in a pot or in the microwave - perfect for those who like to keep it simple. In addition to the delicious flavors, peppers & tomatoes', 'carrot & sweet potato' and 'pumpkin', the 'mushroom' variety has been available again since December 2018 and quickly brings a perfect soup on the table.
