Limoneira opens Southeast Asian regional sales office

Limoneira Company, a diversified citrus growing, packing, selling and marketing company with related agribusiness activities and real estate development operations, today announced that the Company will open a Southeast Asia Regional Sales office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The office will be headed by Francis Lee, who has joined Limoneira as the Asia Pacific Regional Manager.

“Limoneira has been exporting to the Asia Pacific region for more than 60 years,” said Alex Teague, Chief Operating Officer at Limoneira. “The growth of both established markets and emerging markets is a key component of our One World of Citrus strategy. Francis’ knowledge of the entire region is extensive, and we are more than excited that he has joined the team.”

“Given the significant growth and the dynamic nature of the Southeast Asia markets, we believe there will be a real benefit to having more local representation in order to extend our reach into local food service and retail customers,” said John Carter, Vice President of Global Sales at Limoneira. “This addition is also a function of our overall growth in Asia and will allow us to focus our current sales resources more on the Far East markets.”

“We’re excited about this new venture,” said Francis Lee, the newly appointed Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Limoneira. “Limoneira has a great reputation and a number of strengths that resonate with customers including fast, real-time, customer service, vertical integration, sustainability leadership and their longevity in the market.”
