Umina Brothers, a Los Angeles based produce distributor, has joined forces with Choumas Produce. The two family-owned companies are combining into one entity, Umina Bros, to complete a full line produce distribution point. They have completely complimentary product lines, the companies said.
"This union will benefit our customers through enhanced product offering without sacrificing service”, said Richard Flamminio of Umina Brothers, “Jack and his team come with a lot of experience and product knowledge. It is exciting to have two family companies, each being established for 100 years, working together towards the same goal". Jack Choumas adds, “The depth of Richard’s bench is impressive. The integration has already begun and is set to be finalized on January 28.
