During Fruit Logistica 2019 in Berlin, the packaging partner will be presenting the MCT-1 punnet forming machine for automatically and mechanically setting up punnets and small trays from both corrugated and solid board. In addition, Boix seizes the trade fair for the introduction of the latest Boix Q-1500 V3 functions, such as remote access.

That is why Boix organizes a live demo of the MCT-1 punnet machine during the Fruit Logistica, where visitors can see all functionalities live and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Boix MCT-1 tray forming machine for punnets and trays made of solid and corrugated board
The MCT-1 punnet machine is an automatic and adjustable double-headed punnet forming machine. The compact packaging machine is mechanically driven by 1 motor that drives 2 adjustable heads with the aid of connecting rods. This allows the machine to set up 2 different sizes of trays and punnets of corrugated board and solid board with a capacity up to 6.000 – 7.000 trays per hour. No qualified technician is required for changing formats.
The machine is an entry-level model from the range of Boix tray formers. The delivery time is approximately 30 to 60 days. The small cardboard trays and punnets that can be set up with tray former are suitable for packaging vegetables, fruit, prepacked bread, snacks, potato products and meat products.
New features Boix Q-1500 V3 tray forming machine
The Boix Q-1500 - one of the most popular tray forming machines within the Boix range - has been expanded with a number of new features that Boix will introduce at Fruit Logistica. The most striking innovation is remote access for remote machine management. This feature ensures that Boix Q-1500 tray forming machines anywhere in the world are always within reach for remote reading, monitoring and management of data. This provides growers and other companies with greater convenience for machine management, technical analysis, data logging and maintenance. Other new features include increasing the standard maximum production speed from 1.500 trays per hour to 1.800 trays per hour and the adjusted pusher position that guarantees maximum compression time during forming cardboard blanks.
