The Greenery began its import season for Sweet and Sunny strawberries yesterday. This was during the Aardbeiendag (Strawberry Day) 2019. It was held in the Dutch town of Den Bosch.
Only the best strawberry varieties are selected for this brand. These are cultivated by the foremost growers. This ensures that consumers are always assured of delicious, sweet, and juicy soft fruit.
Consumers demand quality
More and more consumers want to enjoy healthy fruit. They, however, do not want to have to think about whether the fruit is tasty. Sweet and Sunny's soft fruit is always sun-ripened. This makes them sweet-tasting and extra juicy. The brand includes strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, red currants, and blackberries.
These soft fruits are specially selected by the best growers. These farmers can be found in countries such as the Netherlands, Spain, and South America. In this way, consumers are assured of the best tasting soft fruit all year round.
Only the best varieties
The Greenery is always on the look-out for the best soft fruit varieties. They do this along with growers, agronomists, and international breeders. They have two of their own locations for testing new varieties. In close consultation with their own agronomist and farmers, varieties are selected to be part of their cultivation concepts.
These selected varieties are then marketed. Only the best chosen soft fruit are considered for the Sweet and Sunny brand. These varieties excel in taste and appearance. Their quality and shelf life is also taken into consideration.
Recognizable packaging
Sweet and Sunny strawberries are available in different packages. With its striking pink color, the concept is distinctive in store shelves. The strawberries are supplied in, among other things, various weights (with lids or resealable topseals). Non-standard packaging requirements can be discussed.
Strawberry Day
The Greenery's soft fruit team were present at the Aardbeiendag 2019 in Den Bosch. This was held on Wednesday, 9 January. Visitors were welcome to taste the best fruit at The Greenery's stand. They were also able to discuss extensive possibilities.
