Looye Kweekers is the winner when it comes to newcomers in the supermarkets' fresh section. They took the honors in the Dutch publication, Foodpersonalty's, special edition. This edition highlighted newcomers to the supermarket shelves.
Looye Kweekers is followed, in second place, by Beetz/Bio Brass & G's Fresh. Fresh Source Group is the next fresh fruit and vegetable company on the list. They are in fifth place.
Fruitstation Van Arkel, Enoch Trading, Kwekerij de Konneweg, Angus Soft Fruits Europe, and Blue River Products took spots 6, 7, 8, 12, and 15, respectively.
Foodpersonality focused on all suppliers and/or brands that were scanned in stores in the period of week 36 in 2017 and week 36 in 2018. They do this in collaboration with the marketing research company, IRI.
