The fully-integrated, patented stand system from BanaNatural can be used to collect, transport, distribute and display banana bunches at the point of sale. Over the past year, it has been widely used in Greece across the entire supply chain. The eco-friendly steel stand is reusable and eliminates the need for plastic crates or disposable boxes on supermarket shelves. Bananas on the stand remain attached to the stem from storage to sale. This prevents the loss of natural juices and extends the shelf life.
The bananas are yellow with uniform colouring and better quality. The innovative system has helped increase sales in Greece, significantly reduce losses, and generate higher profits. Another advantage of the BanaNatural stand system: banana bundles are not separated, which reduces the amount of fungicide required.
