A North American packaging company, Crawford Packaging, is expanding their produce operations in Mexico with the goal of bringing produce packaging solutions to the entire North American supply chain. With the creation of a local service team — and the addition of a bonded warehouse in Leon —the goal is to offer produce packaging solutions to the growing Mexican market.
In short, Crawford is open for business in Mexico.
To accomplish this mission, Crawford announced the appointment of Joss Bravo to Country Manager. In this role, he will have the opportunity to leverage his 15+ years of experience in the produce industry in guiding the direction and operations of the local team.
John Ashby, President of Crawford Packaging, said he is excited about this new addition to the team. He says that Joss’ experience will prove invaluable in assessing the needs of Mexican produce companies.
“We have been doing business in Mexico for a few years, but these strategic changes will take us to the next level. With local representation, local technical support and a Mexican warehouse we look forward to becoming a sustaining resource for our clients.”
Stu Jackson, VP of Produce at Crawford Packaging, is also looking forward to the many opportunities that will come with Joss’ appointment. As someone with an equal passion for produce, Stu understands the importance of the insight that experience brings.
