The Spanish National Police have arrested two men aged 33 and 54 as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force. 400 kilos of mangoes were stolen from a farm in La Laguna after jumping a two-meter high wall.
In a statement, the police have reported that the robbery took place at dusk, after one of the men parked his vehicle outside the farm while the other collected the fruits and put them in bags, which he then threw to his partner on the other side of the wall.
Once the crime was reported by the parties affected, investigation procedures led to the identification of the alleged perpetrators and their subsequent arrest.
According to the agents, recovering the stolen fruit was not possible given that, apparently, it was sold to private buyers on public roads.
