Vitacress, one of the UK’s largest growers and suppliers of fresh herbs and salads to supermarkets has appointed two new members to its senior team.
Mike Sheldon joins as Managing Director of Vitacress Salads. Most recently Mike was Managing Director of Medina Dairy Ltd. Prior to this, Mike spent 22 years with Dairy Crest where he held various roles, including leadership of procurement, being Managing Director of the home delivery business, Customer Direct and finally as Managing Director, Dairies. Earlier in his career, Mike worked for PepsiCo Foods as Brand Manager, Snacks.
Ashley Cooper has joined the company as Group Finance Director. Ashley spent 11 years with Motorola Mobility, latterly as Global Director of Business Controls and Risk, responsible for global compliance and delivering business transformation projects. Prior to this, Ashley worked at Covidien Healthcare UK and KPMG LLP.
