From December 7th to 9th, the 19th China Green Food Expo and the 12th China International Organic Food Expo were both held at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. Citizens and merchants visited the exhibition hall to taste the green food of various provinces and cities.
The China Green Expo is co-sponsored by the China Green Food Development Center and the Fujian Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The theme this year is “Green Production, Green Consumption, Green Development”.
The exhibition set up areas such as the Green Food Expo provincial pavilion, the organic food expo exhibition hall, a corporate brand pavilion, and the green food production area. An e-commerce platform exhibition area, a tasting experience area, a promotional release area, quality testing equipment, food machinery packaging and other related industry exhibition areas, were also available.
The products exhibited included grain and oil, fruits and vegetables, tea, livestock and poultry, fresh water products and other categories. There were primary agricultural products such as fresh and high quality vegetables, fruits, fresh water products and as well as a variety of processed foods.
A total of 37 exhibitors from various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the exhibition. In total more than 1,500 exhibitors participated, along with 554 domestic and international organic food enterprises and related institutions, exhibiting at the Organic Expo Pavilion, including 57 overseas exhibitors. The corporate brand pavilion also has about 100 independent companies and local units.
