Hollander Barendrecht launches start-up Fresh Fulfilment as an answer to new developments in food E-commerce and fresh retail. The independent sister company offers room for innovation and experiment, while Hollander Barendrecht can completely focus on the continued development of its current customer relations.
Modernisation in the fresh supply chain

Versatile and scalable
Fresh Fulfilment focuses on logistic services to customers in (fresh) retail, catering and online. To meet specific requirements of E-commerce, the entire operation is focused on a changeable assortment, and we’re prepared for any growth spurts of start-up and scale-up customers. The complete fresh fulfilment can quickly be adjusted and is scalable, while daily operations are guaranteed. New ideas can immediately be tested in data simulations and pilots can immediately be performed. Fresh Fulfilment now takes care of the complete fresh logistics of its first E-commerce customer: Stockon.
Operational in six weeks
The best example of the new power is the establishment of Fresh Fulfilment itself: within six weeks a completely operational distribution centre has been started, from finding and moving into a new building to setting up the systems and hiring new people. It can be done as quickly as that. Learning and guiding are central to each step. Fresh Fulfilment and Hollander Barendrecht will therefore also actively exchange knowledge and experiences as input for continued improvement processes within both companies.
