News from Selenella: the historic brand will not be for potatoes only but also for onions. Selenella branded onions will soon arrive both in wholesale markets and MMRs. The onions are both red and white.
The president, Massimo Cristiani, explained: “We are shipping our onions with the Selenella brand right now. They are rich in selenium and they are produced in Emilia-Romagna – precisely where we also farm potatoes”.
Therefore, it is a produce with a unique characteristic which allows it to be different from the other onions. The red, sweet and delicate, is ideal for salads; the white, pungent and tasty, is perfect in the oven or boiled. Whatever your preferences are, Selenella onions are indispensable ingredients for every kitchen”.
Their size is 50/70 mm and 60/80 mm. At the moment, there is only one packaging option - the 750 grams nets.
Selenella onions are farmed by following the integrated production premises, exclusively in Italy and from a certified supply chain – which can be consulted through the traceability code written on the label.
