Femeval, Valencia's Metallurgic Business Federation, has awarded Zummo, a manufacturer of professional juicers, with the External Projection 2018 award in recognition of its impeccable trajectory.
The Femeval awards are a recognition of the business activity carried out by the Valencian metal companies. In this edition, Zummo was awarded with the External projection prize. The association based its decision on the remarkable evolution of Zummo's exports and billing in recent years, as its turnover abroad has increased by 100% since 2015.
Zummo is a company that has bet heavily on internationalization since its inception: It was a pioneer in the introduction of pomegranate juice worldwide and, in 2006, it established its subsidiary in the US to cover North America. In recent years, it has managed to open important markets, such as China, India, Qatar, and Russia.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, November 22nd at the Femeval headquarters, and was chaired by Rafael Climent Gonzalez, Councillor of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Work. Rafael Olmos, the CEO of Zummo, received the award along with the representatives of the other award-winning companies. The Metallic Constructions Port was awarded in the Small Entrepreneurial Enterprise category, Pavapark Mobility in the Good Practices in CSR category, Recambios Colon Catarroja was awarded the Technological Innovation in Commerce award, FM Technological Group was awarded in Technological Innovation in Services, Dismuntel in Technological Innovation in Industry and, finally, Mariner, with the Business Excellence award.
