Speakers announced for UK Brassica and Leafy Salad Conference

As well as separate technical sessions for brassicas and leafy salads, next January’s UK Brassica and Leafy Salad Conference will feature speakers addressing crucial issues including Brexit, the retail landscape, and packaging. The conference will take place on Wednesday 23rd January 2019 at the KingsGate Conference Centre in Peterborough.

In the first session of the day, Guy Smith from the NFU will speak on ‘Negotiating the fog of Brexit’, while Alan Treadgold of PA Consulting will address the subject of ‘Navigating the new retail landscape’. Following technical sessions, speakers will include Ed Griffiths of Kantar and Kevin Vyse of M&S, who will talk about ‘Alternatives to Plastics’.

A trade exhibition will take place alongside the conference. There will be a gala dinner held after the event in the evening.

Conference and dinner tickets are now available to purchase online here.
